My brother found a program that turns your desktop 3D, and it is very kewl. The drawback at this point is that I dont have a decent vid card, its a Riva TNT2 w32onboard. Are these kinds of programs common? Im interested in finding others if they exist. Any one seen one of these before? and if so where?

Whats the program then? Share the link with us all! I used a program probably similar a long while ago that was for windows 98 i think it was called top desktop or something like that.

nope, cuz its a program that can also make you desktop 3d, there are a buncha them. do asearch :)

drempels has been around for YEARS...although it used to only work on linux, i believe

Not me. I downloaded it a few days ago. It really kicks ass, but it's hard on resourses.

Looked interesting until I read it only works on MMX enabled CPUs. PPro=nonMMX

im confused :rolleyes: dremples isnt a program that actually makes your desktop 3d??!?!? but 3d top is. "thats the program i ment not desktop 3d" lol. But 3d top doesnt seem to work on xp.

hmm it does work but not very well

kinda wired... i dled it and it makes everything behind my desktop picture (wher ethe normal background color would be) all swishy and trippy.. its kinda cool cept like oni said its hard on resources... it also dosnt work on both my monitors just my primary one :( poo:D :D :D

yeh true it aint really that good and it uses hardcore resources. lol.
