My cd-recorder doesn´t work correct under winxp.

It starts burn for 1 sek and then just stops.

I also have win2000 installed on my computer and the recorder works without problem.

Weird is that the cd-recorder show up as a scsi and the dvd-rom does to but none of them are scsi. the dvd-rom works also perfect.

I have no drivers to the cd-recorder mitsumi 2801te.

well so far most nero, and all adaptec dont work in XP, its not setup for it. It has it own built in CDR software, just drapand drop to the CDR drive or copy and paste, then hit burn to CD. It aint that great but works since no other 3rd party software does

Its not that easy actually. I tried that with windows media player. after burning the first track it said my next songs "will not fit". Which is untrue cause I had like 70 minutes left on the cd. so there is something weird.

actually you have to set the cd recorder to be pio only on the channel that it resides.

device manager and select ide/controllers and set it up

nope you need to set your ide to pio only.

you can burn anything then

ive used nero without a issue yet

thats the only way to fix the missed burns

I use NTI 2000 Professional. It burns great under Win2K. I don't like the direct burn app that comes with NTI.
