I never was a fan of XFX but I got to give them credit for always being first out on the market with the next gen vid cards (6800 and 7800) and they usually have the lowest prices.

I have the XFX 6600GT and it is an awsome card. Never had any problems with it and it overclocks better than any that I have seen. I believe they stick to Nvidea's specs for putting the card together all the way down to the capasitor placements.

my fx5200 was a great card at a low price that they made.

I own the XFX 6800 Vanilla and it's a decent card but the stock cooler is pretty wimpy. Fairly poor overclocker and highish temps. I could only get it up to about 360/785 or so from 325/700 stock and I get 70* C ambient temps:( It's probably just this model though, I would never judge an industry by one product.

I've owbed a few XFX cards over the years and I never had any issues with them. they seem to be the brand that OC the most also.

I have the XFX 7800 (paid $599 plus ship) and it seems pretty good, no problems with it..

I also have the XFX Geforce 4 mx440 se from years ago, when XFX was still called PINE , and it is still going strong, I use it for my second monitor

So I have had no problems with them, that geforce 4 is pretty old in video card standards and considering it has been used everyday since I got it, I'd say it's a pretty good brand...

I also have the Xfx 5200fx I got about 3 years ago, and it is still working fine...

I will say one thing the XFX 7800gtx gets VERY hot to the touch, but the core is usually around 58-59c normal for this card...

in my experience, XFX cards tend to clock well, and my old FX5200 came w/ coolbits and it supported an on-screen usage graph that showed cpu wait, gpu wait, all that. However, they never have updated drivers for anything, their mobos, cards, etc. I have an XFX mobo that ocs by FSB only, no voltages, multies, nothing. Their products work well, but customer support isn't too good in the way of updates. But they are friendly over the phone and all that. If any of this makes sense.
