I have been serching through my manual but I cannot find out to change AGP mode 4x->8x.
with my ati 9200 i know i could change it in windows.

Would anyone like to tell me how to change it? I tried checking through the bios and this i all i foudn in the section

Graphics Adaptor Priority (agp)
Graphics Aperture Size (256)
Performance mode (auto)
Advanced HyperStreaming Engines (disabled)
Performance Mode (auto)
Dram Timing (auto)
128 bit acess mode (auto)
Ch0 MA 1t/2t (auto)
Ch1 MA 1t/2t (auto)

Everything else is stuff about Dram.

What video card are you trying to do this with? Is the motherboard 8x compatible? Is the video card 8x compatible? If you've set it to auto and it only runs at 4x, you probably can't run at 8x because it's not compatible.

woops bfg 6800gt
and my motherboard does support it for sure. I am not sure what im running (4x or 8x) thats why i want to actually see if i can change it manually.

ok lets change my question.
