vp6 temp probes are effffed

Ok, on the standard via hm, it gives me 2 temps. cpu1 at 32 and cpu2 at 29(empty socket) and thats it. but on a program called cpu cool i get 3 temps, temp 1 at 22(not sure what this is), temp 2 at 32c(cpu 1) and temp 3 at (29). What i find strange is that the programe that is made for my vp6 shows 2 temps. and cpu cool, shows 3 temps, and they all have readings, and the processors are are the last of the 2. Also the manual to my mobo shows only the 2 proc temp probes. does anyone have any explanations for this.

The third and lowest temp on that other program is your system temp. MBM shows a third temp also. It is built into the motherboard. Don't ask me where because I haven't found it on my VP-6 either, but it is accurate.

I went through this mind numbing confusion when I got my VP-6 so don't feel bad.

thanx a lot, also now now that i htink of it, shouldnt the system temps and the empty socket be closer???
