Hello newbie here I have read that copper and aluminium do not do well together . how long do you think it will take to rot out a cooling system with a copper block and alum. radiator? And wich do you think would rot first ? you all are the greatest help around thanks alot .

I think the Aluminum is what "rots". You can stop this with some antifreeze though.

aluminum would probably go first.....
but i'd have to recommend getting either all copper or all aluminum so you don't have to worry about it...

put anti freeze and/or water wetter together and that will cure corrosion

The Al will definitely corrode before the Cu.
