dunno if this is the right place, but is there any way to charge a palm with some wires and a 9V? or even 3 AAA batteries connected? i dont wanna go buy a ac charger cause once it starts it can charge from the serial port.

thanks for the help

a 9v battery (around 7.5 in actuallity), doesnt pack nearly enough current to charge a palm device, although it might run it for a bit.

My suggestion would be to get packs for radio controlled cars and use diodes/resistors to get them down to the correct voltage to charge your palm

If was one of two things one of the feul cell cellphone chargers (only in Japan I think) or one of those portable cellphone charger things. The cellphone chargers also work one palms.

Look at your palm's charger label. Then see what the voltage, wattage, and amps requirements are. Running a Gameboy Advanced SP on batteries is more pratictal because of it's low consumption. You could mod the battary adapter to use a standard rechargable than switch to battery power when the normal one runs out.
