Intel 955x - SLI?

Will Intel ever implement sli on this board? i read conflicting stories on the web. anybody know for sure

are you talking about the intel made board or just the chipset?

At the hardware level ASUS already did it, but nvidias drivers deny any other chipset of enabling SLI with two cards. So nvidia needs to enable it in their drivers in order for it to work, and it will not work until.

i was talking about the chipset.

so does this mean the only way to get sli is to buy a nvidia nforce chipset board?

Thanks, I hold off a little longer and see if ATI can get crossfire of the ground before I buy my next motherboard.
