Radeon 7500 available in Vancouver today/tommorrow

Good news to my Canucks brothers, www.anitec.ca here in Vancouver BC expected to have the Radeon 7500 this aft or tommorrow aft. I was in earlier today and they were expecting to get it, price was said to be $259.00 Canadian, we will have to see if this holds up.....

looks like they already have them at A-Power (www.a-power.com) in Richmond + Burnaby (near Vancouver). They have had the Radeon 7000's ($125), 7200's ($139), 7500's ($259), and 8500's ($389) listed for a few days now. :)

Ahhh so sweet , wonder if in stock though, anyone wanna buy a Radeon 64 DDR vivo , 2 weeks old ?? HMMM that 7500 looks sweet like to see a comparison between it and the 64 DDR vivo.

correct me if i am wrong but is a 7500 not the same chip as the RADEON?, just repacked with a different name?
or is that the 7200?

The 7200 is more akin to the original Radeon . The 7500 actually performs equal/better than a Geforce 2 Ultra and ahead of the Geforce 2 Pro. It is a bit faster than a 64 DDR vivo due top its mem/clock settings but if you overclock the 64 DDR vivo I think it would be equal or very close if not possibly ahead by a tiny bit, I may be wrong as I am guessing based on what I have read.

The card sure looks sweet here is a link on 7500 review. Only drawback is no video in, I was considering selling my vivo 64 ddr and grab the 7500 but I do not know if it would be worth it as I just bought my card couple of weeks ago and I have not even overclocked it yet from its 198 setting, but I have seen others, such as Pinky with the same card at 234/234 which would make it rock.
