My favorite computer will now only boot into safemode. What can I do to findout what is the problem?? Thanks guys..

Oh the joys of 98, what exactly did you do before this happened? Any driver updates, or installs?

You didn't mention which OS you're using, but if it's WinMe...I would suggest giving the following MSKB article a read: "How to Troubleshoot WinMe startup problems".

It is windows 98Se, I fugured out what was causing the problem. My ISP has switched to v92 so I installed a new modem, and all was well until I had to reboot. I removed the drivers for the new modem, no more problems. Thanks guys-Rob
