I can't get my SBLive! to work! I've tried everything from uninstalling the card, re-installing, taking it out putting it back in. I have downloaded the newest drivers for Win2K, but I can't install them because it says that it can't detect an SB Live! product on my computer. But in the Device Manager I can clearly see that the computer detects the SBLive! sound card. I don't get it! Someone help me! Ohhh the silence!

Try a different PCI slot
Could be a IRQ sharing conflict, SB Live!s are notorious for that.
Good luck

I had the same problem. Stripped everything down, and tried the card in every PCI slot. No luck. Contacted Creative and tried some of their suggestions, no luck. The only thing I did not do was flash to a new BIOS. I ended up selling the SBLive! POS and getting a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. I never looked back.

I too got the Santa Cruz, but for better features/quality. I never had any conflicts with the SB Live, though windows 2000 was a PITA (Pain in the ass) trying to get drivers to work initially.
Get the whole Liveware package from creative.com
Next, get the latest 4-in-1 drivers from viahardware.com (currently at v4.33)
Install the 4-in-1 drivers first, then the SB live drivers.
