Anyone know anything about this new RAM? Is it still BH like 3200 Gold just tested at pc3500? Its about $30 more than 3200 Gold, Link (http://www.dangeo.com/proddetail.php?ref=4&sku=51891&promoid=14)
2-2-2-5 @ 433 with only 2.8v, that sounds nice.

Most 3200 Gold does that though. I may pick up a set to play with if someone can confirm it's BH, who knows it may OC better than regular 3200 Gold.

Ah ha, thanks :)
A close inspection of the PC3500 GX reveals Winbond UTT IC's and Brainpower 808 PCB.

So basically it is 3200 Gold with a new name targeted towards non-OCing gamers?

Basically, yeah. These are kinda targeted for the novice overclocker.

Think it will reach higher speeds than 3200 Gold because it may be the "better" Gold sticks? My Gold does 263Mhz, but I need more powa!
Trying to decide between GBH, 4000VX, and this stuff with 270+ as a goal.
270 on any UTT based memory is going to be a stretch imo.

I've got some GH. I just need to get me a DFI board and 6600gt b/c my neo2 doesn't o/c well or like the booster too much. In memtest was dang close to 240 at 2.9v. It would spit an error every 3rd pass or so.

good luck with more than 270 with UTT as Sucka said, I'm hoping for that with my XP4000 Redlines.

I didn't say it would be easy, but everyone needs goals right? I may have to go through a few sets of UTT but I will be posting a 270Mhz 32M eventually. :)
I am staying away from Mushkin, resale value drops too much when you buy it because of their bogus warranty.
That's the spirit! It's reachable of course, just going to be tough.
BH-6 Maybe? My BH-6 2x512 hit 240mhz 2-2-2-5 with 3.2v. Infact, my BH-6 follows that chard in the review exactly except its rated for 200mhz 2-2-2-5 with 2.8v stock.

If you don't want to mess with Muskin, then go with the GSkill GBH. I've seen at least one screenshot with 270 out of those.

Please elaborate. Their warranty policy is very acceptable. The only reason warranty policies are made tougher is because of the people that abuse the crap out of their memory period! Make no mistake about it, Mushkin is offering a fair warranty......
Oh yeah, I am a happy Mushkin TCCD user, I like the low voltage much better.

You have to have a store receipt to get an RMA. Makes it tougher to resell them on ebay or forums.

Makes it tougher to resell them on ebay or forums.Yeah, not only do you need a receipt, you also must be the person that originally bought it. if you sell your RAM (which I do every few months) the warranty is void and resale value is less. Their warranty is fine if you plan of keeping the RAM forever but many OCers buy a lot of different RAM to test.

Wow, that's news to me. What a terrible warranty for people in our position. I buy and sell so often that just wouldn't work.

Here's Mushkin's warranty conditions:
Mushkin warrants to the first consumer purchaser that this Mushkin product, when shipped in its original container, will be free from defects and agrees that it will, at its option, repair or replace (with the most similar available product) the defective product, if any malfunction should occur, at no charge to the purchaser for parts and labor within 30 days from purchase from Mushkin or an authorized Mushkin reseller, provided:
(1) the product or any part thereof has not been abused, misused, neglected, replaced, repaired or modified, and
(2) the product is still owned by the original purchaser, and
(3) the product was properly installed in the original machine for which it was purchased and used in its recommended environment, and
(4) proof of purchase is provided for product purchased through an authorized Mushkin reseller and the product is returned in its original packaging.
The reps say these conditions exist because they were receiving too many Mushkin heatspreaders stuffed with non-mushkin RAM (people switch it and sell it). I can see their point, but if one company can stand behind their products, why can't another?
They are only protecting their business interest and trying to survive. So you're saying, for example, sticks that may have had multiple owners, that were pushed and abused to the limit should still qualify for a lifetime warranty??? What other piece of electronic hardware <$250 do you know that carries a lifetime warranty? I stand behind Mushkins' policy. Geesh, eveyone wants a free ride today....

That's always been one of OCZ's selling points, so yes we've come to expect that from them. Why else would you release "Voltage eXtreme" sticks if you don't expect them to get abused with high voltage? I see nothing wrong with standing behind your product.

m :)Obviously it would serve any company's business interests to escape as much warranty obligation as they can. If hard drive manufacturers can warranty their products regardless of how many owners they have had, why can't a memory manufacturer? If you knew just how much markup they have in these products you likely wouldn't be as charitable. If mushkin's warranty conditions are fine with you, great, but you shouldn't be incredulous that others would wish the warranty transferrable. Considering the premium pricing of their products re-sale value is of concern. This would not be a consideration if there weren't memory manufacturers that don't condition their warranty this way, so don't act like there is no example to point to.
