ok for pulling the looks like UV plugs off, not ok for a actual PSU, as larva shows.

Yeah, I'd be a little apprehensive about using a 20 dollar PSU to begin with. And then they're going to give it to me for shipping? Eek. Think I'll pass.

yeah and if it takes out other components with it, when it breaks, you'll be wondering why you went so cheap

its a terrible PSU but you can use it for an external watercooling system or something of the sort

actually you can use it levitate triangles (dont ask its kinda complicated but cool if you dont light it on fire)

I know it's not a good PSU, but is it safe? WHere is LarvaNo, Raidmax is not safe. Dangerous junk that can indeed destroy the components you hook to it. In this case it is a bad deal, even if it were free and you didn't have to wait on the rebate. Spend $21 on a Forton FSP300-60GU if you want a cheap supply, you will come out waaaay ahead in the long term.

Thanks Larva, I was going to buy one for S&Gs but if they are that bad then maybe a freind of mine might want some for target practice "Pull".

I wouldn't even pay the shipping for a raidmax psu. A few years ago i bought a tower/psu combo off ebay. It was a raidmax psu. Well i hooked up all my other stuff to this turned my pc on and Crash.. The raidmax had innapropriate voltage rails and fried my motherboard within the first 15 minutes of operation. You couldn't pay me enough to put another one of those in my system.

Oh my bad, I didn't even look at the date the first post was made. Call the number for the rebate and complain. I have never failed to receive a rebate, it seemed there was a close call on one, but calling several times got me it.
