Man am i impressed w/this cpu!
ran it all nite (8hrs) @ 3.82 ghz and no errors on prime95!
only wierd thing is the proc runs faster than it says in bios, for example im currently @ 244x16 (3.9ghz), but windows is showing that its running @ 3.92ghz... so im a tad confused by that, but otherwise very happy :D

Are you still using the XP-120 that you have in your sig? If so, how are the temps?

That's a nice OC, congrats :) I'm a fan of stock voltage overclocks.

Whoh, those ARE nice temps!

I had just recommended a XP-120 to a coworker with a slightly older LGA775 prescott, such a nice cooler.

be careful about comparing temps unless you are runnning the same mobo, most different makes of mobo report very different temps from the cpu. Ceraintly 25 idle sound low, esp on air, that would be a good temp on water. The Asus PWD2 are know to read high

Also is that 1 prime95 or two apps of prime95.The 640s are awsome cpus, in cold weather I get 4.4G at 1.7Vcore dual prime stable, now its summer I am down to around 4.2 at 1.6Vcoreat full load.Gaming will still run 4.32G without overheating but not dual prime95.

good point, if you are running one version of prime your cpu will only be loading at 50%. The my 650 is awesome, 4Ghz solid as a rock, like you said i will go higher when we get into winter, the ambient temp is very high at the moment.
