I was recently browsing the web for some kewl mods when I stumbled upon these two. The LightTape comes in a set for approx. $50 that includes the power converter (their power usage can be measured in milliamps) and a molex connecter, along with 5 feet of self adhesive tape that supposedly has the same lighting capability of a cathode tube. Here's a pic of the tape in action.

The other mod I was looking at was the Trace Tape. It's pretty damn expensive at $22 for two tapes. Apparently what they do is connect the L1 bridges and unlock your multiplier.
Here's a pic of the tape.

Has anyone tried these? Results? Thinking about buying them? I'm thinking about getting the LightTape... It's just too shiny... As for the Trace Tape... I think I'll stick with a pencil for now... its about 1/44th cheaper...

That have something similar to that light tape @ http://www.koolglo.com

But its more like a hose, or a wire. Actually, its called GlowWirez, and its a might bit cheaper than the stuff you found.
