I'm in the process of getting my system settings sorted out, and I was wondering if it is even reasonable of me to expect my PC3200 chips to run at DDR540 with reasonable timings.

I don't know which chips I have in them... TCCD or TCC5 I suspect.

System specs are in sig, any other information needed just ask!

cool, glad to know i can expect great things from this rig.

i was trying Prime95 on the blend torture test and it fails after about 2 mins:

"FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.4999990724, expected less than 0.4"

any idea where the error is coming from?

At what CPU/RAM freq and how much Vdimm and Vcore are you giving it?

At 270MHz you should be doing around 2.8-2.9V since these may be TCC5's (probably are). Also you dont need that much on the Vcore since it is a Venice core. Try lowering it and see how it goes.

Use 1.3v vcore with 123% . As for the error thats a memory error. Try loosening your timings.
