San Andreas ? on recruiting?

I starting the gang wars now, and my respect is pretty high, but I can not figure out whick keys to hit to recruit members to fight. Do I target a friendly gang member and then hit what key?

Think I have tried every up and down key on the keyboard.
At the rate I am going I will have to fight all the turf wars on my own. lol

there is a button in the config I believe (go to keyboard layout controls in options).

The directions I have found say target gang member then press up on the D-pad. I can't figure out the corresponding key in the configure menu.So I could then map it.

Lock on like your going to shoot then and hit G.

Yeah it's G...but honestly, you're just as well off fighting them by yourself. They don't do much for you.

Thanks alot. I thought I tried every letter. Your right, I have about 30 territories on my own now.

You're going to have to figure it out eventually, one of the last missions requires that a few gang members be recruited.

For me it was target + left on one of my special directional controls.
