any in North Carolina
I am guessing they are not going to be going to florida, this is from the promotion rules:
1. Eligibility: The AMD Extreme Performance Project Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States (except residents of Michigan, Ohio, Florida and New York) and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

i was just going to post that!
im guessing they will all the big cities in the states they didnt get to in the first run (except those listed as void; new york, florida, etc).
and im really really hoping either boulder or denver is on the list! i REALLY want a chip.
i am not counting on getting one from chicago, it looks like its going to have about 10 billion people there. i know of at least 100 people saying they were gonna go. :-(

I know how you feel...I'm from Ohio :( :(
Is there one in indiana? hopefully ft wayne...that's driving distance for a new chip
don't worry they are doing this online too! read it at the site xpcentral.com
It looks like this thing is catching on....Over 2000 people showed up at 5AM. So, the odds were greater than 10:1. The motherboard that they are giving away in the combo is a MSI KT266 Pro board. not the KT266A that everybody is hot over. Still, for free it's not too bad. Got a T-Shirt and my memories...
My Athlon XP 1800 arrived yesterday, and after a BIOS upgrade and, it's almost time to crank it up...I'll keep everyone posted.
By the way, newegg has the new Giga-Byte GA-7DX version 4.3 (Athlon XP recommended) in stock for $115. Ordered mine today it should be in Monday or Tuesday. I'll post a note after it arrives.
I haven't seen any other place specifically selling the new "recommended" boards yet. But, my Biostar is running flawlessly thus far... the 1800 flat out ROCKS!

If I were AMD, I'd go to Portland or Hilsboro, Oregon. Why? Heh, because there's so much Intel activity there. Pretty much everybody who lives around Portland is either an employee of Nike or Intel. AMD must enter the Den of Evil.
If I were AMD, I'd go to Pittsburgh, somewhere in the south west corner of the city, maybe about a block or two from Langley High School, near the old Studebaker garage.
Hey that's where I live!
Works for me!

Heh, Me too! I live in Fort Wayne :)
I think our only hope is for Indy though.
If I were AMD, I'd come to my own front door and personally deliver a 1.53XP to myself! ^_^
On a different note, are there going to be any giveaways in Canada? Particularily around Toronto? If so, I'm draging my friends there.

I have family in San Francisco, Boston... But couldn't get either of them to go to the giveaways, despite extensive bribes... So I'm seriously hoping for a denver giveaway, although by then, I'm sure, about 10,000 ppl will show up. ::sigh::
