Troble finding an x800

Im having troble finding an online store i can buy an ati x800 128mb card AGP at, i looked at new egg but i could not find any x800 agp cards, can anyone help me out?

Well did you try TigerDirect or ZipZoomFly? They both have X800s in stock.

i looked at both sites, i saw found no AGP x800, maybe im just missing something?

awsome find Yuriman, the only problem with 256 is that is costs more, i was looking to spend under 200$, i have found plenty of x800 128mb for around 180$ but there all pci-e , im trying to find one that is AGP but have had no luck so far, do they even make AGP x800 128mb?

well i think your going to be hard pressed to find a x800 128 thats under 200 dollars, your better off getting a 256meg x800 pro ago, then flashing it to a x800 xt, check in the cyber deals forum, the should have something there, they usually cost about $220-$250

i found x800 128mb for under 200 on newegg they are just all pci-e, i ahve search everywhere and have yet to find an AGP version for under 200, why is pci-e less expense?

i have a question why do you dont want to spend over 200 dollars if you can save your money and get an 256meg x800 youll def get a better card then an 128 meg version

The main reason was, im trying to limit myself on money spent on graphics cards, im currently a student and money is tight, orginally i only wanted to spend 100-150$ on a new card, but then i saw some battleField 2 screens with all settings high and was in shock(with my current card i can only run the game at lowest settings) and decided i wanted to spend an extra 50 to get a x800 128, and cant find any AGP versions, so looks like i go up another 50$ to get the 256mb version, but oh well im sure it will be well worth it in the end. but im very thankfull for the help anyway guys.

Personaly, I can't tell the difference between BF2 at high and medium unless you set the images side by side, and my X700 gets about 40fps minimum at 1280x960, all medium except texture filtering, 16x AF.

Can you come up with more $$$ ? Bestbuy has the ATI X800XL down to $249 this week !
or ..

Prce match it to CircuitCity and theres a $30 MIR at CircuitCity ; making the card for about $220 .

depends....if you feel comforatble flashing bios' then get a x800pro and flash it to a x800xt, if you not comfortable with that (like me) just get the xl

ya, i will probley go for the xl, im deffinatly unconfortable flashing the bios, if i spend 200 on a card im not tkaing any chances with it.. lol

how much faster or better is the x800xl then the x800 pro or x800 regular?

Dont even think X800 ; its a very cripled version of a X800 Pro .

X800 Pro has higher gpu/memory clocks but only 8 pipes , but overclocks pretty well ; but will slow down alot with higher resolutions and more eye candy used .

X800XL has 16 pipes but a lower gpu/memory than the X800 Pro , but the added pipes will really show nicely with higher resolutions and eye candy used . For the most part the the XL's are not a great overclocker , but make up for this with the extra pipes .

Its a toss up on what you want ,
benchmarking/higher oveclocks = X800 Pro
eye candy / higher rez = X800XL

thanks for thoese reviews, i believe i will be buying my x800xl today :) , i found the card at both curcit city and newegg, if i buy from curcit city it will be about 15 dollars cheaper, but im not sure if i trust them or not, anybody have any comments to support buying form curcit city v.s new egg?

heh not really the only major difference is that you dont have to pay sales tax on newegg, but the shipping cost usually covers that anyway

Save the $15 ....

You'll be fine buying at CC .Same basic 30 day return policy and no shipping costs . Past the 30day thingy , then its ATI's worry ; but ATI is fantasic with customer service (RMA's and such) .

REMEMBER ..... price match to BB's price (print out the web page or bring in BB's flyer) . That makes the CC $30 rebate an added plus factor for you .

i ended up buying form newegg, i forgot to factor in tax from curcit city, so new newegg end up less expenseive...
