Anything better than PowerChute to manage my UPS?

Is there an alternative to PowerChute for managing my APC UPS? I hate PowerChute, but its the only way I can disable the stupid *beep* alarm. I'd actualy prefer to just use the windows power management, but then I lose the ability to disable the alarm.

I might have to consider getting a sifferent UPS with better management options if I can't figure this out :/ I know some of the business level models lwet you manage them over a network.

You could get a different UPS if you wanted to. I really don't see the point I use Powerchute and while it is nothing to worth writing a review on, it does do the job. I am just curious as to why you don't like it so much.
