Because Im still building up my budget for the other 2 pc's that im going to build (Tbird &Duron) But the third system will be a Slot A Athlon 1ghz and I will need a GFD (Gold Finger Device) to overclock it (no point in haveing a proessor and not overclocking it when there is away)...
I will also need to search for one of the old SilverOrbs that fit through the Athlons PCB via 4 holes that currently hold the heatplate on...

I would REALLY like to give this board some use as it has been through alot.

And yes I know that the Slot A classics are old and I should just get a duron or tbird setup. Well like i said I alrdy have them...errr will.

Can't help you with that... Sorrry. But why just not getting a Socket A chip, much easier to unlock and overclock...

 You can find a gold finger card at www.highspeedpc.com I bought one from them last year, its about fourty some bucks. The orb you are looking for can be found at TigerDirect.com,just order a catolog from them they still carry them there. Hope this helped you.I ran a Slot A bird for ayear or so 900mhz@1050hmz,couldn't get any higher so I rretired it.

Instead of an Orb cooler, which ins't very good, get a GlobalWin VOS32 instead.
