I'm stumped. I have two computers connected with a crossover CAT5 cable but I can't share files at all.

ICS box
AMD 2600 mobile on Abit NF7 v2
Windows 2000 SP4
Dlink DWL-520+ (internet connection)
Davicom DM9102AF (ICS/crossover)
protocols:TCP/IP, NetBEUI, Client for MS networks, File and Printer Sharing
OS and drivers are up to date/latest versions/etc

Other computer
2.4C on DFI pro 875 revA
Windows XP SP2
Onboard CSA NIC
protocols: TCP/IP, Client for MS networks, File and Printer sharing
OS and drivers are up to date/latest versions/etc

Both boxes have the free Sygate firewall and the Windows firewall disabled, and the two NICs connected with the crossover are setup with Sygate to enable filesharing in the Network Neighborhood tab.

What I can't figure out is I can get on the internet with the Intel box but neither computer can see the other when I try browsing the network:shrug:. I have a partition setup on each box to be shared, and both are in the same workgroup.

I get an error on the Intel box when I try to browse the workgroup: "The workgroup Mshome is not accessable. You might not have permission to use the network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available."

The AMD box just shows itself and my family's PC.

Any ideas?
