I just visited atacom.com and they have

DDR 256MB PC2700 CL2.5 OVERCLOCKING MEMORY (MAJOR)

Is that for real? Or a typo?

Lets say that you're comparing Pc2100, 2400, and 2700....no overclocking done to them, will the 2700 be faster then the 2400 and 2100?

im kinda new to this overclocking stuff.........so can you just overclock the memory to run faster, or does it go up as you o/c the cpu?

When using o/c ddr memory it goes the same speed as the fsb, so in a way it goes up with the cpu. with standard sdram, if your mobo supports it, you can set the memory +/-33mhz over/under or equal to your fsb.

fsb*multiplyer=cpu speed in mhz.

so you can up the fsb, and lower the multiplyer to have faster memory at the same cpu clock speed.
