Hi, I'm now stable at 160*7.5(1200mhz) and can't boot windows at 1250(haven't tried in between yet). I'm currently running with +.1v and according to mbm actually at 1.91v and sisoft sandra: 1.93v
My current max temp is around 43c(maybe 44c when hot out) and around 38 idle.
Now I can only increase by .1v and would still have below 50c temps, but was wondering if 2.01 or 2.03v is to high for my chip. I don't want to damage anything, but the cpu won't be thaat hot.

somepeople have their cpus up at 2.2v
chances are you could run safely on 2.03v but is it worth the extra heat and how high you will get with that, an extra 50mhz?. You probably wont see a diffrence, and there is a risk of electromigration and also the chance that the cpu will fry.
I personnally wouldn't go over 2.03 though(unless i have good cooling)
but that is just what i think:D
good luck

The highest I ever had mine was 2.08. My temps were around 50c.

:D Voltage = heat,if you up your voltage too high you chip will not operate properly. Also you will have many lockups, try it and check your temps,if all looks good let it fly.

If I didn't have a flaky 5v line I'd still be at 2.06v and 1150mhz and loving it. I'd go 2v-2.1v range if I were you.

mine ish 4.80, is that alright for me up my Vcore from 1.85 to 1.95? the system rig in my sig said 1.94V and 1.98Ghz is before i blow mine PSU. i am running 1.4 still at the moment.

na sorry for the disappointment:D itz 1.49hz i meant:p . heaps of difference.

okay so you pplz reckon with the 4.80V i would have no problem at all if i raise 0.1 v to 1.94.

all i need is one more sure answer i will go for it, coz i just got bak from swapmeet and bought a small blue orb for the m/b chipset which cost me A$25 about US$12.5 ~ not very good value but anyway... and a thelmotake Vocano6 cu+.

for the silicon compound do i just put a little bit on the core or fully cover it? will it demage my cpu if some got out and went side of the core? if not, is it the same to mine m/b chipset?

thankz

coz i did screw up mine graphic ram once went trying to put some ramsink but put too much silicon compound and it went outside of the mem.

try burning in at a low voltage before you fry your cpu
