Here I thought I had my Celeron 900@1125. That is where it seemed most stable. I could push it higher but the chance of my mouse locking up increased. Then I hooked my speakers back up to my SB Live. Everytime a sound started or stopped there would be a loud popping noise. Grrrr. Took the chip back down to 900 and the popping is gone. Durnit. SB Live was actually underclocked. Was at 125FSB and 1/4 PCI. Oh well. All those fans I added are just a waste now.

you could try making it a PS2 mouse with an adapter...it might lower the refresh rates but you get more out of an o/c (plus you can d/l progs to increase your refresh rate)

good little prog for increasing rate (however it doesn't work with some of the touchier motherboards....it froze my Asus A7A266 100% of the time)
