I use Click and Burn Pro myself. I an amateur when it comes to CD burning and I seem to understand it pretty well. Easy to use and within 1 year they've patched the software 3 times so they do provide support. Think they just came out with a newer version also. www.clicknburn.com
I bought my at Best Buy also. About 50 or 60 bucks now.
The only two software programs I have for burning are Nero, And Clone CD. IMHO, thats all you will ever need.

I've been using CDRWIN for 4 years without any bad burns so far on an old external Philips omniwriter 26 2X2X4. Time to upgrade don't you think?

I use nero and cdrwin (for bin and cue) cdrwin is great for the more advanced user...
Im just using Easy CD Creator 5 ... Its all I need and soon I will need to update my burner.. its a 4x4x8 but hey.. it works :) and im not in much of a rush to get my cds done in a couple of minutes even thought i would love too :)
nero 5.5.4.0 (TDK), work very well, I hear that CloneCD is good also, but have never tried it.
*Does anyone know of any free "audio production" software? I mostly want to do remixes, and mix seperate songs into one continuous mix. Any help would be invaluable.
Easy CD Creator 5.02 Platnum for everyday burning, and CloneCD for when I have to do those pesky SafeDisc CD's and the like (For . . . Um . . . Backing up! Thats right!)
^_^
thanks for the reply's guys, i have currently tried all the ones you listed and unfortunately i cannot get cloneCD to work! it says my burner is not compatible..grrr i have a creative 8x4x32 burner..
nero, clone cd, fireburner.
I use NTI 2000 Professional for non protected CD's as I like the 2 clicks for making a CD. If I am making a backup of a CD that has copy protection on it I use Perfect Copy which detects the type of copy protection being used and then imports the correct settings into Clone CD to allow you to make a copy without errors. Sometimes the settings go down to 1X burning!!! but it does make a perfect CD.
