I have spent alot of time reading the fourms and still need to know what I'm doing wrong??? I have a Abitkt7a-raid with the new bios update to support my 1.4 AYHJA 0130spcw Athlon and I have 256 megs of pc-133, a SK-6 heatsink and good case cooling... BUT I can't get past 1466 mhz????? This is to all the moderators and overclocking kin, please help!

I choose user define in the bios and run 11X133 with vcore @1.75
and I/O @ 3.50 to get 1466. My temp is 40 idle and 43 full load...

I've tryed every possible combination it seems-11.5X133@1.825/3.50, 11X135@1.80/3.60, 12X133@1.85/3.60
and so forth???? I just got the heatsink today and even with the case open still get the same results, I have 2 4in. fans blowing in on the side of the case, one on the cpu heatsink&fan and the other on the gforce3; then I have two 4in. fans at the back top of the case blowing the hot air out along with a bay fan between the writer and reader.... Case temp is 22c.... I'm running windows XP2600 and the full code on my cpu is>

A1400AMS3C
AYHJA 0130SPCW
Y6650630121 Which I thought was an awsome chip?
It is unlocked...

Please help....Is it because my windows get fouled out or am I just screwed and broke:(

You say you can't get past 1466. WHat happens when you try? Is it unstable? WOnt boot? Won't POST?

Also, what kind of Power supply do you have and what kind of ram?

It boots all the way to 1600 in the bios but not into windows, can get it to goto 1485 but crashes and 1533 11.5X133 won't go into windows witout an error... Have a 400w power supply...

I think your mem is holding you back, is it pc133? Get some good memory pony is junk, try a better brand and you will be golden.
