View Full Version : Fry's Phoenix Antec ps and silverstone case

Saw the Antec truecontrol 550 for 119.99 which for B & M is a good deal. This is the one you can adjust the volts on.

And I saw the SIlverstone TJ-06 for 109.99 which kicks ass on any price you can find on the net.

Both deals good until Aug 2. Not sure about frys in other areas.

they also have the Antec P180 for $129.99 after $30 mail in rebate

wow. I'd get a TJ06 for that much, even though I hate the hard drive mounting in it.

Defintely need to go SATA if you are going to have more than two drives.

Or is their another reason you hate it?

Its kinda ugly, and the postitioning is bad. My power supply does not move a whole lot of air, so I'd be concerended about my hard drves getting too hot. I'd much rather see a configuration liek the p180 with the ps and hard drive rack in a sepperate chamber i nthe bottom. This case definatly has great cpu cooling though. That wind tunnel is a great idea.

CPU at 47C, WD250GB at 47C, Case at 29C. I have 6 Hardrives but I can only read one using MBM

Nice but to be honest. For $119 I could get a powerstream which is infinatly better.

I bought the Enermax EG565P-VE at fry's for 130 (119 list)including tax the week before. Newegg has them for 95 shipped but I wanted in my hot little hand. Pretty happy with it, I don't need to fiddle with the PS voltages.

The Silverstone TJ-06 is the smoking deal.

Yeah it is. Once again I miss another great Frys deal because the neasrest frys is REALLY far away.
