Finally got some good ram (OCZ Platinum Rev2) and now I can crank up my trusty old Shuttle SB61G. Watercooling helps.

Great OC
However all that additional external hardware sorta defeats the pupose of the Small Form Factor of that Shuttle.
I have a Shuttle SB65G2 and a 30 cap P4c 3.0 that I can't attemp to OC because of heat build up in that small box. I'll mod the case and put an 80mm intake fan on top to blow cool air over the CPU/heatsink and pressurize the case to aid the PS exhaust and CPU heatpipe fans in increasing their CFM with cooler air.
I very much doubt I'll get near your OC but 3.4 on air would suffice.

My thoughts exactly. But i'm sure a few fans can go a long way no?

Agreed, but since this hasn't moved for over a year and won't be moved in the forseable future, it is no biggie, plus without fans (except for a 120mm that spins up via SpeedFan under 3D to cool the 6800 ram and surface mount stuff) it's literally Silent.
The amazing thing here is that the FB61 mobo in this thing is capable of this kind of overclock - ranks right up there with the best of the best o'cing boards.

All besides; that is also an exceptional OC for a 2.8C !!!

pretty impressive stuff.. but as stated why have a shuttle with all those guts hanging out

the 4.1 was suicide screenie. It's prime stable at 3.95ghz.
The guts are covered, the picture where they are 'hanging out' is with the cover off. See the pics below - that is cover on.
Again - because this is integrated into built-in shelving and desk, and it also acts as DVD, CD and web radio (audio out goes into my amp) for home entertainment, it does not move - silent, small, unobtrusive were all critical.

Anyone know if there is a PCI lock on the Shuttle 915G/775 "FB83 / SB83G5" Model? (Running P4 530 3.0E 775 Prescott). I was trying to OC mine, and I can't find ANY PCI lock in the BIOS. Memtest runs w/o any errors at 225FSB, but Windows gives me a "System Protection" BSOD even at 210FSB? :(
Any tips from the Master Shuttle OC'er? :D

you would assume that there would be a PCI lock, but i don't know, i'm stuck with dusty old SB61G.
