AMD TB 1.4 AYHJA 9 can o/c how high?

Hi,pls let me know if u have the same chip with me and pls tell me how high u can o/c this chip steppings btw the stepping is 9 not y

I would think you could get it up to at least 1.5-1.6 depending on your components and the right cooling. Go to the cpu database and see if you can match up your stepping.

i checked but none belong to my type of steppings.......i tried to clock at 1.55ghz and it is stable at 1.85core and idle temp is 42 full load is 50 so it is not temp problem so still thinking y...i upped the vcore to 2.1 but it cannot boot at 1.7ghz...anyone can help? or can anyone tell me the max this type of stepping can go?

1.6 could be your chip's max.....my max for a POST is around 1680 with 2.025volts....my max stable in windoze under stability testing has been right around 1600/1.85 volts with watercooling (i haven't hit over 100 degrees yet since i started watercooling...) Ya i think that 1.6 is about it, i have a 1.33 of that steppping (9)that maxes at 1520 stable, and my buddys 1.4 max is 1600.

hi,looks like here is a international site...glad that me a singaporean can chat with all experts here :) btw urs is k but mine is 9...so i am now using 1.55 at 1.85vcore......so thinking of hitting 1.7ghz hehe

you will not get 1.7 ut of that chip unless you watercool and overclock HARD, the chips with a 9 stepping are not wonderous overclockers, my 1.33 could not break 1520 stable at all, but my new y does 1630. 110mhz over the 9 stepping same speed chip.
