How long does one have to wait?

I recently RMA'd my Geforce 6800 GT back to newegg. This was 2 weeks ago. I got my invoice number on the 28th. Today is the 30th.

I'm just curious as to how long it takes for them to transfer funds back to your account? I'm beginning to get a little worried. I figured recieving the invoice number and etc was part of the 2-3 day process.

I've done it a couple times and it takes a few days, should show up anytime. I think I remember it took 3-4 days before I saw the money back in my account. Maybe Monday since it's the weekend.

It also depends how fast your bank is. Newegg from my experiance is rather speedy giving back funds. They are rather good on the zero balance thing.

My bank was not as quick. It took a full work week for my refund to clear back into my account. The newegg rep told me that "it can take a bank a bit to credit your account". You can call your bank and see if the funds are in limbo on thier side of it. Then find out the expected clear date. How my refund from the egg went. Total of 14 days from the inital call (Newwegg) to get a refund, then having the money back ready to spend.

I'll just keep waiting then. If all else fails after a couple more days, I'll go talk to the hotties at the bank counters. :attn:

EDIT: I checked my account about 2 minutes after I posted this and noticed the money was there. :p
