View Full Version : I'm leaving F@H for a few months!!

I'm currently in the process of moving to South Africa and will not be folding properly (like 24/7 AMD POWER) till I get my stuff shipped over.

Hopefully this process shouldn't take too long (only a month or two) I will have a laptop and I'll be folding on that and posting updating you with my status in getting the comps all at my new house in South Africa!!

Good luck on the move!!! Hopefully your machines will all make it over in one piece.

Sounds like we will be on version 2 by the time you get back. Although, I wont hold my breath :).

Maybe you'll be surprised and your machines will by you soon!!


I have never lived or traveled overseas and not sure why it would take so long for the computers to get to you.

Either way the team will miss you.

Anything I ship over has to be cleared by customs etc etc and all my stuff has to go on the ship which takes a good week or two to get to the docks in south africa. Then it all has to driven to my house in South Africa..............

Thats why it takes sooo long and the people the shipping companies employ are very slow workers!!!

I will be taking my Laptop, so I'll still be posting if I can get some Internet access out there. The Laptop is an Intel Chip (PIII 850) so doesn't crank out the WU like my Athlons and iMac
(the iMac has got an upgraded processor that I bought for my mum and it goes 24/7)

So hopefully i'll be keeping in touch with you as soon as possible!

When my gear arrives I shall fold on!!
