I'm upgrading a friends dell, with an integrated graphics pos mobo, bad psu, and bad case

to a p4p800 mobo
ocz powerstream psu
and a saphire 9600XT 256mb

Everything as far as I can see is plugged in correctly, I get no codes when I boot, but I get no video, so as far as I can see it's working fine, except no video. Any ideas?

Is this a new motherboard? Have you tried reseating everything? ie- cpu, ram, cards, etc. Or try running just the basic components? ie- mb, cpu, ram, video card, and that's it. just enough to post. Are you even getting a POST beep? What ram are you running? Is it compatible with the new motherboard?

Do you have another rig you can test the video card or cpu with? If you can test both of those then the board must be bad. Or you can see if the cpu or video card is dead.
