Howdy all, new to the world of overclocking but really curious. I have an old (free) Intel SE440BX-2 MB with a Celeron 366 in a socket/slot adapter. 384mb pc100 RAM, 8gb HD.

I know the MB is supposed to be able of handling up to a 800 P3 but I want to see if I can overclock the 366 CPU and figure any cooling mods that I do can transfer over to any new MB or CPU.

What do I do and where do I start? I've read some of the FAQ pages but they offer no info specific to my MB & CPU.

well if you wanna overclock abviousley your not going to be able to change the multiplier of 5.5 but you could look on the mother board and change the fsb speed to like 75 mhz and get 412.5mhz out of that baby check ur motherboard documents to see where the jumper for 75mhz is.

An original Intel mainboard won't give you any OCing options. The only thing you might be able to try is to set the FSB to 100, but since you won't be able to adjust the Voltages it's virtually impossible. (sowwy)
