Active cooling (fan) your RAM: how do you do it?

I was contemplating buying 1GB of Mushkin XP4000 REDLINE, abd then I read they require (per Mushkin's instruction) a 80mm fan blowing directly on top of the sticks. Did anybody do that on a DFI LP UT4, and how? Pics would be cool

Mushkin redline under 2 80mm fans. Attached to one of the tubing and mobo power connector

does it help much by cooling your ram ?

Absolutely...... You'd be impressed with how much better your ram overclocks with cooling. Heatspreaders don't compete against some fans.

well I got severall spare fans Ill add some for my ram tonight then, maybe I can hit a bit higher.

I don't have a picture but the fan on my XP-120 hangs right over both sticks, and this fan moves hella lot ammount of air, they stay pretty chilled

Hmmm I wonder if the Scythe Ninja I plan to buy will have the same cooling effect. We'll see!
