Socket A HSF on Socket 7???

LOL, Whens the last time someone asked about a SOCKET 7???
Regardless, I've got an old beast of a computer, K6/2 300@350 that the cooling fan just went out on. A new fan would only be 5 bucks but the thing ran pretty warm and I thought, hey, SVC's running that special for a Golden Gate for 15 bucks or the CBG38 for 10 bucks, so what the heck... Question is, will a HSF made for a Socket A work on a Socket 7???
I think it has a Blue Anodized Vantec on it now that would be nice to chop up and make a chipset cooler out of... heh...

Hey! It worked for me, I put some noname HSF that cools my K6-III 400 (2.4V) @ 450 (2.7V) just perfectly...

Cool, I wonder how a Golden Gate will do on it... Maybe I'll throw a 56W Pelt on there too hehe...
