intel L2 cache latency?

yea i got WCPUID and under tweaks it gives me an option to change the cpu latencty L2 cache timing. currently its at 2 should i put it highter or lower to get best performace? im on a celeron 788mhz

You should leave it at 0 if possible- lower latencies are better. However I did this to mine and got a speed boost of ZERO, as well as some added instability. I can't OC quite as high with the latency timer off of default, and since it doesn't speed things up at all I just leave it at default now.

The Celeron's L2 latency is supposed to be at '2', only a real P3 has a latency of '0'. Besides a smaller cache this is one of the other things Intel has done to make sure the Celeron doesn't get on top of a P3.
