ATI Tool causing blank screen at startup

Has anyone had an issue where if they have the ATI Tool installed and running at startup that it can cause you to get a black screen when you first power up your machine yet your monitor VGA signal indicator says you are receiving signal?

It doesn't happen all the time with mine....it has happened 2x for me.

I am using ATI 9800 pro but it has been OCed to XT speed using SW, and I have CCC 5.4 installed and running O.K. Yes, I would get a 1 to 2 secs "blank-screen" if I multi-tasked trying to run applications such as Temp Minitor or EXplorer when my PC is also opening the ATI Control Panel. This would only happen to me IF I am multi-tasking while PC is opening ATI Control,apart from that I have "normal" screens all the times. As such I am not bother any more! :)
