I'm getting ready to do do the soldering for a vDroop and vOfs mod on my IC7-G, and have a question. This may sound like a stupid question, but let me explain why I'm asking it after I ask it.

Where is a good place to go to a full GND on the board?

The reason I ask this is because there are some GND's that float at a very low voltage, and these can scew readings. I need a full 0v GND.

I could go to the case, but that would be a pain, because the mod will be affixed to the board, and I'd have to take it off every time as the leads are going to be very short. I really want to keep everything on the motherboard to keep things neat.

OK, the question now has a solution. What I'm going to do is to go ahead and use the case as GND, but with a twist.

I'm gonna run a short length of wire with a female connector on one end, and install that underneath one of the brass mobo standoffs. I will thn put a male plu on the other end of it that can be connected to a female connector on the wire from the vOfs cermet. That way I'll have an easily removeable mobo, and the mod can still be affixed to the mobo itself!

Sorry for the question, when all i had to do is a little more thinking, but I am tired. This may also serve to help someone elkse with the same type of thing going on. :)
