Investigating this, looking for feedback...
Does anyone analyze memory dumps for stop errors? Who does it? Why? Is this useful for programmers if their application is causing stop errors?
Just curious, as I've been a member of a 20+ person team of PC support professionals in an international environment of thousands of users for the past 16 months, and I haven't ever found it necessary, and I have never seen another coworker use it either.
Seems like it would be a terribly inefficient method of troubleshooting, so I'm wondering if anyone is aware of when, where, and why it might be a good, useful approach.
