Video Trouble with FX5500 card

I just purchased a GeForce Fx5500 256mb video card for my home desktop. I have updated to the current 77.xx drivers. I have getting pixelated and off-colored video playback thru Windows and VLC media players. All other graphics display properly.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how I might fix this issue?
