i stopped by electronics boutique yesterday, on a mission to get op: flashpoint (which i did), and while i was there, i figured id stroll over to their sparse selection of sound and video upgrades.
i use onboard sound at the moment, and i was thinking about purchasing an sb live!X-Gamer, but it wasnt a big priorty.
no more live!s in sight, all i saw was these "Audigy's" from creative. they had an x-gamer, and the platinum.
im not big into sound, but last time i checked, when you refered to an X-gamer, or a Platinum, your talking about a sound blaster live!
is it just a new name for the live!? or are the cards better/have more features?
i personally liked the Sound Blaster Live! name, why would you go and change it.. i dont understand. all it does is confuse non-sound enthusiasts like muah ;)
