I installed a Swiftech MCX370-0A on my P700E/933. My temps after 2 days of 24/7 folding seem rediculuosly low. The gorb that I removed was giving me readings of 118F/47.7C under full load compensated to 104F/40C under motherboard monitor. After installing the HSF and restarting I noticed the temp was 98F/36.6C without compensation. Because it was time to go to work I left it running which I do anyway for folding and when I got back the temp was reading 93F/33.8C. The system has been running wide open since then and this morning the temp is 91F/32.7C. Voltages is 1.75, MB temp is 89F/31.6C. Even though I bought it because of it's advertised efficiency I didn't expect this much gain. Should I believe these readings. If yes then this is my experience and I recommend this product. All temps are full load. Idle temps went from 109F down to 87F. Ambient temp is 77F/25C.

Why not??? I always knew that Gorbs were pretty low performing coolers, so I'm not very surprised that the Swiftech brought your CPU-temp down more than 10°C.

Don't worry be happy!:)

how much case cooling do you have?

I think there about right
with air cooling your temps are usualy I little higher thin what the bios tells you

I'd like to have an 80mm at the rear and a blowhole but I'll have to mod the case to do that. Air exiting through the exhaust fan is cool but below the power supply. Heat rises and only the power supply is removing that air which in itself is not good. I'm just surprised that I'm getting this much cooling from such a poorly design system.
