Looking for some ram to buy around 100.

semi moderate 1gb dual channel set will always kick but compared to a expensive 512 IMHO

go to newegg, and get the G skill value ram... Pretty good for $100

You want two matched sticks for dual channel, I vote for 2X512 of something reasonably priced.

I'm no expert, but I think if you want to future-proof if a bit, you should go with a 1 gig stick now and get another of the same 1 gig stick later if you need it. The Crucial Valueram is ~$110 and should OC reasonably well.

Yeah.. mine does 240 at cas 2.5-3-3-7.. Possibly more, but I never bothered to push it. Not bad at all.
