polishing HS

I am planning on using a polishing kit from a hobby store with 6000-12000 grit paper and was wondering if anyone has tried anything that fine.

Sure, lots of people have. you get a nice reflection of yourself for it to. i don't think there is much advantage going from like 600grit to as far as you want to go temperature wise though.

i think i will run my hs (glaciator 2) :D w/o polishing first for baseline numbers than highly polish it and post my numbers.
