I gots me a problem, My brothers computer is shutting down after being on for some time.

Checked to see if it was over heating fans are running fine, cooling just like when I had it. Thing is once it restarts, the hard drive is not dected in the bios.

I just booted it up in safe mode and when I ran a digansotic scan on the hd I got a BSOD. Restarted and the hard drive was not dected.

Basicly is there anything else I can do to test the hard drive, pretty sure thats what is kupput.

System is:

Shuttle mobo
IBM deskstar 80 gig hard drive
2x256mb kinston pc2100 ddr ram
geforce 2 mx400
amd xp1900

Any help would be apreatied.
