Last weekend i got a virus on my mobile phone (nokia 6630).. it was called commwarrior and was a total pain, it kept sending people messages via MMS and Bluetooth.

I went into the phone shop (orange) who couldnt help me at all. i found some antivirus software on the web.

just thought id share this bit of info incase any of you have the same thing and want to get rid of it quick before it runs up a huge bill.

on your mobile phone / PDA browswer type

http://mobile.f-secure.com

then download the removal tool of your virus which you have

then install and run it, reboot and then on your phone browser go to

http://phoneav.com

and download the mobile phone antivirus

now install and run

even if you dont have a virus, might be worth getting phoneav to protect yourself in the future.

sorry if this is a repost.

I'm not using a pda phone yet (still Nokia 3100) but it's good to know this information.

BTW your comment on the 1220c is rather funny. My 1220c isn't working right anymore :(

~LOL its not only me then!

well they are working fine at the moment... they are prob the best printer in their catogry but just don;t ever seem to do what you want them to

i run an office, we have 3 1220cs and one 1280, the 1280 has not had any probs yet although i think the 1280 is just a 1220c in a different box.

if you are having problems with printing A3 try the following. right click on printer/ properties/ printing preferences / advanced tab/ disable width sensor / apply.

should make any probs with A3 go away!

also get the up to date drivers they work much better.

if you are having paper jam / too much paper being taken then open it up and clean the rollers with a wet cloth

hope thi helps pm me with more probs

Do I need to worry about getting "virus" in my PDA at all or worse of all just pressing the "HW reset button" to clear the infected virus as well as my installed programs? I have got the Acer N35 PGS/PDA by the way and would love to see if there is any FREE anti-virus utils I can find for this PDA too. In my normal desktop PCs they are well protected by various anti-virus utils and SW Firewalls for surfing the net. They are being home networked to my PDA through wireless as well.

Thanks
