My old comp didn't have a modem and I couldn't make it connect to internet through LAN, now I got a 33.6 modem installed it downloaded the latest work and began folding... I'll leave it for the night to fold and see how it does in the morning...

BTW: No one seemed to answer this question in earlier my posts so I'll ask it again:
Will adding more RAM to the old computer help it fold faster or is this program only uses the CPU and not the RAM?

Cool
To answer your question. Yes and no. The process is almost entirely dependent upon the speed of your processor, but it does help to have enough excess RAM to run the client without having to rely on virtual memory for it to run. 128 is more than enough. I haven't tried with less since I don't have anything smaller, but 64Megs should also be fine, especially if you are running a lean 98 or even 95.
