I'd rather not have anything wifi, just normal headphones. dont want ear buds either. mic is optional. My AIWA HP X-223 just broke, so I thought i'd upgrade
Here are my Options

KINYO KY-100 - http://www.pricegrabber.com/p__Kinyo_KINYO_KY_100_5_1_Surround_Sound_Headphone s,__9652615
Sennheiser - EH150 - http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/EH150/
i'm mainly gonna use these for gaming (Counter-strike source), so any ideas on whether i should buy one of those or something else?

I'd consider a Sony XD200, thats probably what I will be getting to replace my lousy Audio 90. Any Koss phones with the portapro drivers would be excelent as well.
sony xd200 isnt that great
either is senn pc 150
best bet is to get a hd 497 and a clip on wire mic and make sure you burn them in for about at least 40 hours

Have you used one?

I would save another $10-$20 and get Grado Sr60s but thats just me
I second HD497's, but i think they would be slightly more than $50 shipped, and don't have a mic.

lightly used HD497's :)
I have a pair of Philip's HP820's and they sound pretty good though I feel the sound stage is actually too wide! I hear they're about $40. (I payed $16 at a computer show).
thanks guys, i ended up getting the 497s for 43 bux shipped.
