Leaking due to Water Wetter?

Does anyone know if Water Wetter is corrosive to styrofoam? I bought a decent sized styrofoam box from 7-11, and it leaked on me, big time, overnight. So I took it back and replaced the bottom, and now there's a waterstain around the box. Could the water wetter be eating through the box when the water isn't flowing(leave my pump off overnight)

Water Wetter isn't supposed to be corrosive at all. I would tend to believe that the water cooler was bad. Those that you get from a convenience store are for weekend and holiday use. They are not intended to be a longterm type cooler.

You should look into getting a 5 to 10 gallon cooler from a real store that has the drain spout in the bottom on one end. Use that as the out port and have the water trickle back in through the top... this way all the hot water stays up top and the cool water is at the botom to cool for ya.
